Missed Blessings

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19, KJV

Money. Money. More money. We all need it, but how do we learn to trust and lean on God when we are lacking money. Bills are due. The family needs to be fed. We cry out to God for relief. God answers our cry but not in the expected way. As I waited in line at the grocery store, the lady in front of me asked if it was okay for an older gentleman to cash ahead of me. I said, “No problem,” and told the gentleman he could move ahead of me. He politely declined. The lady in front of me whispered that she wanted to pay for his groceries but he did not know. I asked the gentleman once more to come in front of me. He said, “No, I’ll wait my turn.” The lady heard this response, paid for her groceries, and left the store. The elderly gentleman missed his blessing. This can be us when we fail to move into position despite prompts from others or the Holy Spirit. The elderly gentleman thought he was being polite. This however can lead us to stay in places that are stagnant. We do not prosper financially or spiritually.

Today make a bold step to trust God to lead you in the right direction.
